I love talking. And I’m good at it. I’ve guested on an eclectic mix of shows, representing my broad interests (from Dan Snow’s History Hit to Always Take Notes) but here’s a sample of shows I’ve created, presented and/or produced since first taking the leap into audio in 2020.

If I Speak (2024-present)

If I Speak was born from office chat. My colleague, Ash Sarkar, and I wanted to do a show that meshed our interest in politics with our love of culture — and gossip. Voila, If I Speak was born. And it’s been a massive hit. Before the show was even six months old, The Guardian had named us as one of their Best Podcasts of 2024. We were invited to play a live show at Glastonbury in June 2024, with Charlotte Church as a special guest, and in September, we debuted at the London Podcast Festival, joined by bestselling author Yomi Adegoke. With over 7,000 weekly listeners tuning in, 2025 looks set to take us to even more exciting places.

Human Resources (2021- 2023)

A Broccoli Content production, hosted and scripted by me, Human Resources is a podcast exploring the truth about Britain’s involvement in the slave trade. The show was widely covered by media, including recommendations from The Guardian, The Financial Times and Vulture. It was also nominated for Best History Podcast and Best Host at the 2022 Ambies (Awards for Excellence in Audio).

Hello Happiness: Tranquility (2021)

I scripted and hosted a guest episode of the Wellcome Collection’s podcast exploring what ‘tranquility’ means in the modern age. Prod. Debbie Kilbride.

Reclaimed and Rewritten (2021-2022)

I created and executively produced gal-dem’s limited documentary series, presented by Clarkisha Kent investigating the myth and destruction of Tulsa’s ‘Black Wall Street’. This was another podcast I was involved in that made its way onto The Guardian’s ‘Best of the Week’ lists. Prod. Aiwan Obinyan.
